These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Harbour North. By creating an account, accessing the service, or using Harbour North, you agree to these Terms.
1. Harbour North
Harbour North provides personal financial-planning tools, including Horizon for retirement planning and Bearing for budgeting. The service allows users to enter or import financial information, model retirement scenarios, review projections, organize transactions, track spending and bills, set financial goals, compare possible changes, and explore personal financial decisions.
Harbour North does not hold or manage investments, execute financial transactions on your behalf, recommend specific securities, or act as your investment dealer, portfolio manager, financial adviser, accountant, insurance adviser, or lawyer.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. Harbour North is intended for adults using the service for their own personal or household retirement planning, budgeting, and related financial planning.
3. No professional advice or fiduciary relationship
Information, projections, recommendations, comparisons, alerts, explanations, and other content generated by Harbour North are provided for general planning and educational purposes only.
Your use of Harbour North does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, accountant-client, lawyer-client, or similar professional relationship.
You should obtain appropriate professional advice before making significant financial, investment, pension, tax, estate, insurance, retirement, or legal decisions.
4. Estimates, projections, categories and assumptions
Harbour North outputs depend on the information and assumptions you provide. Actual results may differ materially from projections, and automated transaction categorization or budgeting suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Tax rules, CPP, OAS, pension rules, investment markets, legislation, merchant information, and personal circumstances may also change over time.
Harbour North does not guarantee any projected retirement income, portfolio value, tax result, success rate, transaction category, budgeting result, recommended adjustment, or other outcome.
5. Your information and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and assumptions you enter or import into Harbour North and for reviewing your retirement plan and budgeting information when your circumstances change.
You are responsible for independently checking important information before relying on it for a financial decision.
